METSOC OF CIM HOSTS MCWASP XVI – June 18 -23, 2023

On behalf of the conference organizing committee, I would like to invite you to the 16th International Conference on Modelling of Casting, Welding, and Advanced Solidification Processes, to be held in Banff, Alberta from June 18-23, 2023. 

Programming will feature all aspects of solidification modelling including solidification process technologies (continuous and semi-continuous casting, shape casting, additive manufacturing, and welding amongst others), coupled multi-physics simulations, defect formation, fluid flow, micro and macro structure formation, numerical methods, as well as related experimentation especially in-situ observation of solidification. The conference will be held at the Banff Arts Centre, in the heart of the Banff Townsite and within Banff National Park – Canada’s first National Park.
