MetFest events bring together teams of regional metallurgists, process engineers and other associated professionals for a unique day of networking and professional development.
This will be the 15th MetFest and follows successful events in Orange, Adelaide, Perth, Kalgoorlie, Brisbane amongst others held since 2016.
The event will commence on Thursday 19th October with a tour of various plants across the Mount Isa Mines Copper and Zinc Assets followed by a networking function at the Mount Isa Services Bowls Club.
Friday 20th October opens with a series of technical presentations in the morning followed by lunch and networking drinks in the afternoon hosted at the Redearth Hotel.

Call for Abstracts
We would like to formally announce a call for abstracts for presentations from those interested in speaking, with a focus on all metallurgical topics (e.g. plant upgrades, projects, operational strategy improvements etc).
Presentations will be a maximum of 15 minutes with no formal paper required to be written or submitted.
