Join the Hunter Region Branch for their 10th Annual Jameson Distinguished Lecture: Metallurgy is Central to the Development of a Critical Minerals Project.

About this event

The modern landscape calls for development of minerals projects which have a strong focus on national and international strategic outcomes.

Often the assets are held by small companies, and complex or novel metallurgical flowsheets are required. As a result, significant financial backing by governments is necessary for development.

Sound metallurgical testing, methodical scale-up, and product validation is central to the success of the company. The experience of Cobalt Blue at the Broken Hill Cobalt Project will be presented.

The in-person and livestream presentation will examine the pitfalls and successes of developing a critical minerals cobalt project located close to Broken Hill through the lens of a small ASX company and the necessary role of sound metallurgical testing to underpin securing financial interest and credibility in the project.

There will also be an optional dinner at a nearby restaurant (Venue TBA) to allow further discussion of the topic in a relaxed manner.
To RSVP, please select this option when registering for the event.
