Bill Allen

Bill is a qualified mine geologist based in Central Victoria with industry experience in mine geology, tourism, retail, and customer service. This experience is coupled with a unique knowledge base surrounding the geological setting and mining history of the Bendigo goldfield which represents the largest historically producing goldfield in Victoria and the largest concentration of deep mine shafts anywhere in world.

In his current role Bill is involved in the operation of several of Bendigo’s premier heritage assets, including the Central Deborah Tourist Mine which contributes to Bendigo’s local community and tourism industry through preserving and showcasing the city’s unique mining heritage and geological setting. Hide
