Learn and apply new skills…
The workshop will shine a light on the existing poor thinking that has delivered sub-par discovery performance to the resources sector in recent years. It will allow participants to identify poor thinking in their businesses and to avoid common thinking traps and bias. Participants rethink the structural settings of the exploration industry to drive success in the 21st Century. The second day will focus on Systems Thinking as a paradigm shift in understanding the way the ore deposition works, the key levers that will control improved exploration performance and why the resource sector will always be cyclical. On the third day we drill deeper into system behaviour and ore prediction with discussions on becoming a discovery scientist and what should be in your discovery tool kit.
Through gaining greater understanding of the difference between risk and uncertainty participants will develop skills required to take on bigger and more complex projects with greater confidence.
