UNFC – United Nations Framework Classification: What is it and why do you need to know about it?

This workshop will include presentations that cover:

• Implications of the EU Critical Raw Minerals Act and the associated United Nations Framework Classification for Resources (UNFC) Guidance Europe document.
• What the UNFC is and how it has been applied to various projects in Europe.
• Some of the differences between the UNFC and the CRIRSCO reporting systems.
• An introduction to AMREC (African Minerals & Energy Resource Classi?cation and Management System) and the proposed Pan-African Resource Reporting Code (PARC).
