For nearly 25 years, Longwall USA has been the leading conference for longwall mining. While shearers, AFCs and shields do much of the work, longwalls also rely on continuous miners and conveyors. It’s time to broaden the discussion to include all aspects of underground coal mining.
In addition to longwall-related programming, the conference will include:
•Additional focus on room-and-pillar mining;
•More emphasis on coal handling and storage; and
•Better information for operations management
